Operation Lunchbox was established as a non profit 501(c) (3) organization that began in 2015. We are a local organization, working with the board of education, social workers and school counselors to provide free food for homeless and underprivileged children. We are able to do this through awarded grants, fundraising, corporate partnerships and the generosity of donations.
We provide hungry kids every weekend with bags filled with non perishable foods. Nearly one million kids in the state of Georgia are eligible to receive free or reduced meals. Currently we are serving in Butts, Clayton, Henry, Jasper and Monroe counties.
In 2020 we began providing free groceries for families in need. Every week we set up a mobile pantry and hand out 1300 farmer to families food boxes. Currently we are providing 25 counties in Georgia with free groceries.
